April 8 and 9 from 2-4 p.m. at the theater.
Wanted: Men and women of all ages needed, especially 16-25 year old. Dance (particularly disco, club, hustle) and singing experience a plus but not necessary. Numerous roles are of Italian ethnicity. Special consideration given to anyone who auditions in 70's clothes.
Auditioners should provide a song in the style of the show (can be musical theater or disco era) and sides will be provided at the auditions.
About the Show
A musical based on Nik Cohn's 1975 New York Magazine article "Tribal Rites of the New Saturday Night" and Norman Wexler's 1977 film, featuring music by the Bee Gees. This musical adaptation of the '70s classic film is the story of a talented, streetwise kid from Brooklyn who attempts to escape his deadend life through dancing. The score to Saturday Night Fever includes many discoera hits by the Bee Gees.
Showtimes: Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.; Sundays at 2 p.m.
