Auditions

Auditions were Jan. 9 & 10 at 7 p.m. at the theater.

Casting 4 women and 4 men.

Women: an ingenue (age 20's); a philanthropist, wealthy patron (50ish); an Italian wife of opera singer (40ish); and a soprano, (30+).

Men: a youngish man (sings); a bellhop, any age (sings); famous opera tenor, 40ish, (sings); distiguished man (50ish), manager of Cleveland Grand Opera, wealthy patron.

Director's Note: The singing is opera, but good acting is much preferred over grand opera voice. The play is a fast-moving farce, complete with confused identity and many doors which open and close with verve!
