About the show:
Lend Me A Tenor is a a fast-paced farce of mixed identities leading to general chaos, a story of young love, and a very drunk tenor who's wife is a very jealous woman.
** Lend Me a Tenor will NOT be performed on Friday, March 22 as originally planned; instead, it will be performed on Thursday, March 21. Playmakers invites you to honor and celebrate the life of the late Russell Krosgard on Friday, March 22. Check back for details of that event.

Auditions were Jan. 9 & 10 at 7 p.m. at the theater.
Casting 4 women and 4 men.
Women: an ingenue (age 20's); a philanthropist, wealthy patron (50ish); an Italian wife of opera singer (40ish); and a soprano, (30+).
Men: a youngish man (sings); a bellhop, any age (sings); famous opera tenor, 40ish, (sings); distiguished man (50ish), manager of Cleveland Grand Opera, wealthy patron.
Director's Note: The singing is opera, but good acting is much preferred over grand opera voice.
The play is a fast-moving farce, complete with confused identity and many doors which open and close with verve!
