On Stage

Let There Be Light
By Frank Levy & Bonnie Bess Wood
Directed By Frank Levy
December 14-16, 2007

An original holiday tale, set in the fictitious midwestern town of Clarion at the turn of the millennium. The city's leaders have for the first time granted local kids the task of planning the traditional holiday show. The students decide to learn more about how Jews celebrate the season with the goal of blending Christian and Jewish traditions in one big event. Their quest for knowledge takes some amazing and awkward turns as eventually wisdom prevails with the great event taking place after all. Kids and adults of all ages act together in this journey into understanding and hope for our times.

With one week of performances December 12-16, including special daytime performances approved by school board and St. Tammany private schools for showings of the play to bussed in groups from the actors' own schools.
