The players have been immortalized by a characature
of the cast that will appear on the posters and programs.
One of Neil Simon's funniest, the play is a riotous romp peopled
with zany comedic characters guaranteed to satisfy the most discriminating
comedy lover. The plot centers around the New York City's deputy
mayor who has accidentally shot himself in the ear (it's only
a flesh wound) and his wife is missing. His lawyer decides a
cover-up is in order, but this becomes increasingly difficult
as guest arrive to celebrate the couple's tenth wedding anniversary.
The tangle web these people weave to hide the truth build to
a hilarious ending of the play. Directed by Judy Krogsgard, the
cast list a number of veteran actors that include Connie Hill
as Chris Gorman; David Buzan as Ken Gorman; Kathy Booth as Claire
Ganz; Stephen B. Cefalu as Lenny Ganz; Jill Lane as Cookie Cusack;
Charles Vaught as Ernie Cusack; Janet Talley as Cassie Cooper;
Hugh Golden as Glenn Cooper; Keith Pederson as Officer Welsh;
and Mary Vincent as Office Pudney. Krogsgard is assisted by Jeff
Sowerwine and Susan Culbertson handles the stage manager duties.
The set is designed by Russell
Krogsgard and the costumes by Mary Vincent and the cast. Playmakers,
