John Kander and Fred Ebb's hit musical that inspired the Academy Award winning® film is coming to the Playmakers stage! Set in the Roaring 1920s, Chicago focuses on two "Merry Murderesses", Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart, who fight for fame in order to save their necks from the gallows. Known for musical theater standards like All That Jazz, Cell Block Tango, and Mister Cellophane this is a project you definitely don't want to miss out on. So come be a part of this exciting tale of murder, greed, corruption, violence, exploitation, adultery, and treachery - all those things we hold near and dear to our hearts.

Frank Levy’s Summer Theater Camp productions give children ages 6-16 the opportunity to learn theatre and communication skills. Every child has lines and dances. We award 10-20 scholarships annually to children who qualify. Campers also have the opportunity to grow further with our camp counselor program.  For summer 2016, Playmakers will present Beauty and the Beast and The Wizard of Oz at Playmakers Theater and Snow White at the Greater Covington Center.
