History of Playmakers

Playmakers, Inc., was organized in 1955 as a non-profit, voluntary amateur theater and has functioned as an organization for the promotion of dramatic interests in the Covington area. Playmakers gives an opportunity to all interested persons to participate in live theater. Playmakers has continued to produce four or more plays each year since its beginnings despite many setback including the loss of the old theater by fire in 1976.
